A great day for golf at the 2008 Challenge Cup matches. As always the PVCC

course was ready and waiting for the 40 players. The result was in question as

the last '3' matches were still out on the course. As it turned out, the FWGA was

able to prevail once again. Thanks again to Gary Gant and the PVCC staff in

support of the 2008 Challenge Cup!

     On behalf of the Board of Directors of the FWGA, a huge thanks to the members of the FWGA

for a very successful 2008 season. A few changes are on the way and the 2009 schedule is almost

complete. Keep posted to the website to check for the updates in the next several weeks.

     Be sure to mention your appreciation to all of our host golf courses and their staff. We could

not even imagine where the FWGA would be without their support and cooperation.

     I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow board members for their support

and commitment to making the FWGA one of the finest local golf associations in this country.
